What a weekend on Pittwater! The 2025 RMYC Timber Boat Festival was more than a showcase of stunning boats, it was a vibrant celebration of heritage, design, and community spirit. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this event possible, from our dedicated sponsors and passionate exhibitors to the thousands of guests who joined us.
 
Highlights from the Festival:
 
Over two days, Pittwater came alive with more than 60 beautifully restored and handcrafted timber boats, each telling its own story of craftsmanship and tradition. Visitors strolled the marina, chatting with boat owners about restoration techniques, timber selection, and the history behind these timeless vessels.
 
Guests enjoyed:
 
  • On-water demonstrations showcasing classic boat handling and maintenance tips.
  • Live music and entertainment that kept the waterfront buzzing.
  • Family-friendly activities, including kids’ boat-building workshops and maritime storytelling sessions, not mention some fun face painting.
  • Free Skin Cancer Checks, courtesy of the Australian Skin Cancer Foundation truck
  • Local food and drink stalls, featuring Broken Bay Brewing Co. and other RMYC favourites.
  • Shopping pop-ups from Shoreside Clothing and marine suppliers for those looking to take a piece of the festival home.
