The Australian Wooden Boat Festival (AWBF) is thrilled to announce the opening of exhibitor applications for the highly anticipated 2025 Australian Wooden Boat Festival, set to take place in Hobart, Tasmania, 7 – 10 February 2025. As the largest celebration of maritime culture in the Southern Hemisphere, the AWBF invites boat builders, craftspeople, artisans and service providers to participate in the showcase of wooden boat community.

Renowned for its rich maritime culture, the AWBF attracts thousands of visitors from across the globe, offering a unique platform for exhibitors to display their products and services, and a great opportunity to engage with fellow maritime enthusiasts. The 2025 AWBF theme will focus on maritime culture across New Zealand and the Pacific Ocean, with a large contingent of visitors expected to attend the AWBF from those regions.

The festival welcomes returning exhibitors and invites new exhibitors to complete the application form to exhibit at the AWBF 2025. Exhibitors can showcase their products and services in the Maritime Marketplace (large specifically designed exhibitor hall) or across the festival site. The festival also welcomes a variety of not-for-profit groups to apply.

Paul Stephanus, AWBF General Manager states

“We are excited to see many returning exhibitors, some of whom have displayed their products at every festival, as well as throw the doors open to new exhibitors. The AWBF provides a unique experience, celebrating beauty, craftsmanship and maritime culture, in a beautiful part of the world, with a passionate community.”

Applications for exhibitors are now open and will be accepted until September 2024. Interested parties are encouraged to visit the AWBF website (awbf.org.au) to submit their applications and learn more about participation opportunities.
