Canberra Traditional Boatfest 13-14th April, 2024
Hosted by THE TRADITIONAL BOAT SQUADRON OF AUSTRALIA
On the lawns of Canberra Yacht Club, 1 Mariner Place, Yarralumla, ACT, 2600
All traditional boats are welcome: rowers, putt-putts, sailing craft, steam boats, wooden boats or maybe not.
This event is part of the annual Canberra and Region Heritage Festival
Saturday 13th
- 0900 Cruise including morning tea on Lake Burley Griffin
- 1100-1400 Public display of boats and boating equipment
- 1400 Explore the lake at your leisure
- 1830 Dinner at Statesman Hotel with guest speaker, and social chat
Sunday 14th
- 1000-1200 Grand Parade to Kingston Harbour and return.
We are negotiating with the Museum of Australia for the PS Enterprise (Australia’s oldest operating steam paddle steamer) to join the parade
