Scimitar Power Catamarans have been an Australian icon in Power Cats since 1997. With a new modern look and range of models, these vessels are built for Australian conditions. Director of Scimitar, Tommy Ericson and his team have been working to modernise the look and integrate new technologies, systems, and equipment, all whilst ensuring that the functionality, reliability and feel of the original Scimitars remain.
Nick Ward, Sales Manager at Mac Marine Group says “we are extremely proud to be representing Scimitar Power Catamarans, as Tommy Ericson and his team have taken this brand to the next level. With user experience at the forefront of their design focus, the vessels now socially pivot around an aft kitchen layout, that flows into the cockpit over a servery. This creates a much more relaxed and open atmosphere that I believe all boaties will enjoy. Knowing how economical these boats are to run, cruising to the Whitsundays annually is affordable and comfortable due to the upgrades Scimitar have introduced to these newer models.”
Scimitar Power Catamarans are crafted for efficiency while preserving an air of luxury. Indulging in the comfort and spaciousness of the 1010 Flybridge, this vessel doesn’t just have the looks but offers optimal performance as well. Fitted with twin shaft driven diesel engines (150-250 hp), the 1010 Flybridge can reach speeds of 25 knots using only 30-40 litres per hour combined. Accommodating up to 6 people overnight, the vessel’s open-plan layout is perfect for larger groups and comfortable cruising.
