Paynesville Classic Boat Rally
The biennial Paynesville Classic Boat Rally will take place on March 1-3, 2024, at Paynesville on the Gippsland Lakes, Victoria
This community-run event brings together boats and boating enthusiasts from the Gippsland Lakes and around Australia for a unique exhibition of our colourful maritime heritage.
Our event has grown quickly to become one of the largest in Australia, and will feature around 300 classic wooden motor cruisers, ketches, yawls, sloops, couta boats, fishing boats, dinghies and speedboats.
The Rally will include a grand parade, an on-water sail-past, classic boats will be moored on display along McMillan Strait and the foreshore. There will be novelty boating events, the floating tin shed, speed boat events, model boats and static boat displays.
