EXPO 2023: A Festival of Ship Modelling
More than 100 model ships of all shapes and sizes will be on display at this year’s Festival of Ship Modelling being hosted by Sydney Model Shipbuilders Club.
From ocean liners to fully rigged sailing ships, miniatures, ships in bottles, radio controlled replicas of famous vessels, the expo is a must see for everyone.
There will be model clipper ships, I8th century ships, paddle steamers, contemporary warships, ships hydroplanes and yachts.
The event is on Saturday 29th July 2023 from 10:00am to 8:00pm and Sunday 30th July 2023 from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
This will be the 8th EXPO showcasing ship modelling.
This year the event is at Wests Ashfield Leagues Club 115 Liverpool Road, Ashfield.
Exhibitors are from a range of modelling clubs including Canberra Model Shipwrights Club, Australian Plastic Modellers Association, St George Model Ship Club, Hubertus Model Boat Club and Taskforce 72.
The Sydney Model Shipbuilders Club is an active group of enthusiasts who are passionate about model shipbuilding
New members from beginners to experienced and of any age are always welcome. There is plenty of help and a lot of encouragement on offer.
