Mooloolaba Women’s Keelboat Regatta Entries Open
Online entries are NOW OPEN for the 2023 Mooloolaba Women’s Keelboat Regatta!
An invitation is extended to all female sailors to enter the 2023 Mooloolaba Women’s Keelboat Regatta hosted by Mooloolaba Yacht Club, May 5 to 7, 2023.
This Regatta is open to female sailors from all clubs who wish to form their own teams (typically three or four) to sail on the Mooloolaba Yacht Club’s four Elliott 6m keelboats.
On Friday, May 5, there’s a fun “Battle for the Bubbles” (optional) with the serious racing taking place over the weekend Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th May. The racing is an “around the buoys” event, with a Racing Series followed by Gold & Silver Fleet Finals on Sunday.
All teams will have access to an Elliott 6m for training on Friday, May 5. Two morning training sessions will be scheduled.
If past years are anything to go by, slots for the maximum eight team places will fill very fast, so gather a group of sailing friends and get ready to join the MYC sailors for some fun in the sun! If you’re an experienced sailor looking to join a team, please contact the MYC to be matched with a crew.
