Down Under Rally Announces A Change in Direction!

Preparing a vessel & crew for extended coastal and or open ocean voyaging requires both the vessel & crew to be well prepared and capable. Over the past few years, The Down Under Rally has made it possible for many of those who have joined our rallies to gain the confidence and the skills needed to broaden their horizons, achieve their dreams & make some memories. 

Providing members of the international cruising community with accurate information about sailing to and cruising in the SW Pacific & Australia has also been and will continue to be a major focus of the Down Under Rally.

In addition, our rally participants have received significant discounts and special offers from the Down Under Rally network of Rally Partners & Sponsors.

Since launching the Down Under Rally membership program in early September 55 people have chosen to become Down Under Rally Members.

ABOUT THE MEMBERS

The member base already comprises a diverse of very experienced cruisers, some who are relatively new to cruising and some who are in the very early stages of planning and are yet to buy their first cruising vessel.

The majority of members are from the East Coast of Australia with 19 from QLD, 18 from NSW, 7 from VIC, 1 from WA. A few internationals cruisers who hale from the following countries have also chosen to become members, Canada, USA, Switzerland & New Zealand.

Of those members who already have a cruising vessel the mix of vessels stands at Sailing Multihull x 24, Sailing Monohull x 19 & Power Monohull x 3.
