The Boating Industry Association has launched the Invitation to Exhibit for the Sydney Festival of Boating to be held at Darling Harbour (29 Jul – 1 Aug). This event will be an exciting opportunity for industry to not only showcase boats and boating equipment but to celebrate the boating lifestyle.

The festival will feature displays and activities in the International Convention Centre (ICC) at Darling Harbour, a marina in Cockle Bay for larger on-water displays and a new Festival Boulevard of displays between Cockle Bay and Tumbalong Park.

Early indications point to strong industry support combined with a growing demand from the public for a return to events. Sydney’s appetite for large scale exhibitions was on display yesterday with the ICC hosting Australian Healthcare Week.

The Sydney Festival of Boating will also help respond to the increasing interest in boating as a standout leisure activity for families.

The BIA is working not only with the ICC but also Property NSW, Vivid Sydney and Transport for NSW to coordinate supporting activities for this year’s festival.

BIA encourages all prospective exhibitors to lodge their completed application prior to the first round closing on 9 April to have the greatest opportunity of securing the space desired.
