Postponement for the Australian Wooden Boat Festival
The biennial Australian Wooden Boat Festival set down for Hobart in February next year has been cancelled because of “uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 Virus.” The festival, which usually attracts the best of Australia’s wooden boats and over 200,000 visitors from interstate and around the world has become one of the most anticipated events on Tasmania’s tourism calendar.
It will now be re-scheduled for February 10-13 in 2023.
