Can you teach young people to problem-solve while swinging a hammer?

Do you have strong mentoring skills, trade skills or perhaps you’ve helped young people become employment ready in the past?

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers, of all ages, to get involved with our highly successful and innovative pre-employment program aimed at helping young people, in a position of disengagement, disability and/or disadvantage, navigate their pathway and develop necessary skills for employment.

Experience with boats, woodwork or trade-skills is wonderful. However, is not necessary, so long as you’re keen to learn and give it a go while also being able to engage, connect and mentor a diverse group of Participants. In Making Waves Foundation both our men and women volunteers make a significant contribution and this program is no exception.
