After an extremely successful Discover Sailing Day, Concord and Ryde Sailing Club is running a Learn to Sail holiday camp from Monday 20th Jan – Wednesday 22nd January 2020.

The Discover Sailing Training Centre at Concord and Ryde Sailing Club ensures the camp is very informative and lots of fun. Safety equipment (lifejacket), lunch, morning and afternoon tea, insurance and Club Membership is all included.  All they need to bring is a pair of closed in shoes/sneakers, sun sense and a change of clothes,

The three-day course runs from 9.30 am to 4pm, costs $250 per child and if more than one member of same family attends there is a 10% discount.  It is aimed at children who can swim 50m in deep water unassisted, 8-12 years of age. No previous sailing experience is necessary. Groups of friends are invited to join up … the more the merrier.

Concord and Ryde Sailing Club has a comprehensive racing programme running from September through to April. Each Saturday afternoon, a large number of dinghies take part in racing on the Parramatta River between Ryde Bridge and the Mortlake Ferry. These dinghies include Spirals, Tasars, NS14’s, Herons, Sabots, Catamarans and Firebugs.

The club also has an active Cadet fleet and an Intermediate group who have completed a training programme and want to progress to afternoon racing.

Sailors of all skill levels are catered for, from beginners to state & national champions at this family friendly club located at Kissing Point Park, corner of Waterview Street and Yaralla Road Putney.
