Dehler DNA steps into the future with the new Dehler 30 OD

Imagine owning a revolutionary new design that promises high performance, is sporty, and very sophisticated in build. A small package that will relieve the "crew finding" pressures.

Stepping up your performance sailing can be a hard world to compete in. Big expensive boats with a full crew needed to be competitive are hard to manage short- handed, let alone be competitive. It is tempting to downsize, but to what? If you are going to buy a boat for club racing or regattas you probably want one that can also provide some comfort and berths down below.

Dehler has announced the new Dehler 30 One Design – designed by judel/vrolijk & co. and built under the guidance of Karl Dehler.

"We wanted a light, fast boat that was capable of winning regattas - without giving up living comfort for holiday trips" says designer Matthias Broker from judel /vrolijk & co"

This model will suit the Australian and New Zealand markets where there is a growing popularity in short - handed racing. Not only club racing but the longer offshore races such as the NZ SSANZ series and in Victoria the ORCV 2 handed series, not to mention the pinnacle of two handed races – the Melbourne to Osaka. The 200 litre water ballast, structural strength and streamlined fin keel with a 900kg bulb are all features of a design that maximises speed and stability.

Ric Hawkins, Windcraft’s Dehler Brand Manager, says that "this will be an ideal boat for our East Coast regattas - the Sydney Harbour Regatta, Sail Port Stephens, Festival of Sails, Airlie Beach Week and Hamilton Island. The boat is at a very accessible price point, ready to sail right away and will attract sailors looking to downsize in terms of crew."

We're offering an introductory price on the Dehler 30 OD until 30th June 2019. Contact us for pricing.
