Compass 28 – Saga

Sydney Harbour

Compass 28 – SAGA

SAGA – an outstanding example of these fine craft – is being
offered for sale for only the second time in her 50-year life.

Restored by her current owners to original condition,
and with sympathetic upgrades, SAGA has been
scrupulously maintained by professional shipwrights.

– SAGA was displayed at the last two Classic & Wooden
Boat Festivals at the Australian National Maritime
Museum, the first production boat to be so honoured.

From the Muir electric winch on the bow to the 2” exhaust
through the transom – and everything in between – nothing
has been overlooked.

The 13 hp Beta Engine has only 190 hours.
With a new furling headsail operated from the cockpit, SAGA
has everything for relaxed sailing.

Her interior – with full head room – is both beautiful and
comfortable, and perfect for overnight stays.

One of the first Compass 28s built, SAGA is without doubt
the best of the class afloat.

SAGA is available for inspection at her mooring on Sydney
