Classic Fisher Clinker Runabout For Sale
Made by Bill Fisher near Gymea, circa 1952, this fully fibre-glass-sheathed runabout plies Brisbane Water and the Hawkesbury with an 8hp, (32 hp modern measure) four cylinder 980cc Morris M1 Vedette Marine petrol engine, circa 1951.
The last of the indestructible Morris Minor sidevalves, with a forward/reverse gearbox and starter motor, it cruises all day at 6 knots. Electronic ignition fitted for reliability.
It has a hardy Marine2000 decking, with sturdy bimini and matching storm cover. Registered until January 2024 – has custom trailer, 2 ton axle, extension arm for deep water float-off, electric brakes, registered til Feb 2024. At 5.2 metres, legally moored in NSW since February 2019.
It is a fully reliable work-horse, averages 3 hours a week of cruising and is serviced every 100 hours. Antifouled including Propspeed, interior paint renovation, August ’23. It is one beautiful boat, best suited to wooden boat admirer.
