Change of skipper for Team Finland in Clipper Race  30-Nov-2009
Clipper has reluctantly accepted the resignation of Eero Lehtinen, skipper of Team Finland in the Clipper 09-10 Round the World Yacht Race. The Finnish skipper will depart the boat in Western Australia at the end of Leg 3 and will be replaced by Southampton based skipper Rob McInally.

  
Port Hacking Dragon Boat Club Celebration Paddle  30-Nov-2009
The Port Hacking Dragon Boat Club enjoyed a ‘Celebration Paddle’ departing with two boats from Yowie Bay wharf which is only 100 metres from their club house. A number of newcomers enjoyed the experience of paddling with the Club on the day, arriving at Swallow Rock (Grays Point), detouring via Audley Weir.

  
Sam Davies and Sidney Gavignet complete the Transat Jacques Vabre  30-Nov-2009
British sailor Sam Davies and her co-skipper Sidney Gavignet crossed the finish line of the Transat Jacques Vabres race at 05:50 GMT on Saturday November 28th after 19 days racing. Onboard Artemis Ocean Racing the pair were a little battered and bruised, and not as high up the leader board as they would have liked, but delighted to have made it to Costa Rica.
