Peter Loft Marathon Race on Pittwater

The Peter Loft Foundation was set up to help young sailors’ compete in national and international sailing regattas. Peter Loft, a talented young sailor and member of Bayview Yacht Racing Association (BYRA) was tragically killed in a plane accident.

Since the 1990’s the annual Peter Loft marathon race has become an institution on Pittwater. This year the race will be held on Sunday 18th April 10 and sailors from all clubs are welcome.

BYRA will be holding a Barbeque and prize-giving after the race. Monies raised will go to the Peter Loft Foundation.
