More than 100 entries have been received for the CST Composites International 14 World Championship to be sailed on Sydney Harbour after Christmas. Team Finland received a wake up call with a knock from a passing whale. Spirit of Australia emerged from stealth mode and, although behind Cape Breton Island in terms of Distance to Finish, the Australian team is further east and therefore closer to the scoring gate.

Aurora Australis Weather Buoy Tracks  02-Dec-2009
Weather buoys will be launched from the Japanese research vessel Shirase in the next few days. You can follow the buoys as they start transmitting by visiting the site Seven buoys will be launched in total. Four of these will be launched along 110°East longitude within a few days of each other.
